Update: Water System Upgrade

State Revolving Fund Grant: Village of Capac Drinking Water System Improvement Project

The Village of Capac received a grant up to $6,055,000 from a highly competitive grant process. These grant funds will improve and repair our current water system and will impact the community for decades to come. This project will improve water quality, distribution and new technology for operation of the system.

“I am proud of the Village of Capac, consultants, and engineers. From obtaining grant funding to project design, the water system is in drastic need of repair, and this project will set the Village’s water system up for success for many years to come. Our water system will improve in quality, distribution, and technology, allowing us to provide better quality water and services to our water users.”  -Travis Youatt, Village Manger
